Data Engineer
Associate Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large‑scale data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python, SQL, and AWS services to support analytics and reporting across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources into data warehouses.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high‑quality, reliable datasets.
- Optimize data models and queries for performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to maintain data integrity and availability.
- Utilize AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda) to build and manage cloud‑based data infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and pipeline development.
- Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt, AWS Glue).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and star/snowflake schema design.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS data services such as S3, Redshift, and Glue.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
