Systems Engineer
Entry‑level Cloud Engineer focused on Azure infrastructure, supporting virtual machines, storage, and automation while providing 24/7 operational support.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents for Azure virtual machines and related services in a 24×7 rotational support model.
- Configure, provision, and maintain Azure Blob Storage and other core Azure resources.
- Develop and execute basic infrastructure automation scripts using tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement best practices for cloud security, performance, and cost optimization.
- Document procedures, runbooks, and incident reports to improve knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Fundamental understanding of cloud concepts and infrastructure architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure services, especially Virtual Machines and Blob Storage.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems and networking.
- Strong analytical skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast‑paced, on‑call environment.
