Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, implementation, and validation of cryptographic algorithms and protocols used across Visa’s payment platforms.
- Develop and maintain Python and C/C++ scripts to automate cryptographic testing, key management, and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to perform threat modeling, risk analysis, and security reviews of new and existing encryption solutions.
- Support incident response by analyzing cryptographic failures, providing root‑cause analysis, and recommending remediation actions.
- Document cryptographic designs, test cases, and security findings in clear, concise technical reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Strong foundation in applied cryptography concepts (e.g., symmetric/asymmetric encryption, hash functions, key exchange).
- Proficiency in Python and C/C++ for security tooling and automation.
- Experience with threat modeling frameworks (e.g., STRIDE, PASTA) and security assessment methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
