Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high‑performance C applications that ingest, store, and process massive network traffic datasets.
• Optimize code for scalability and efficiency on modern Linux platforms, leveraging multithreading and low‑level system APIs.
• Collaborate with security analysts to translate detection requirements into robust data‑processing pipelines.
• Develop prototypes and visualisation tools that present complex network insights in an actionable format.
• Conduct performance profiling, debugging, and continuous improvement to handle tens of billions of records per day.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C programming and systems‑level development on Linux.
• Experience with network programming concepts (e.g., sockets, packet capture, protocol parsing).
• Demonstrated ability to write high‑performance, memory‑efficient code for large‑scale data processing.
• Familiarity with performance analysis tools (e.g., gprof, perf, Valgrind) and multithreading techniques.
• Background in data analysis or cybersecurity research is a plus.
