Associate Backend Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, with a focus on CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployment on AWS.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an agile environment to deliver incremental features.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated testing, code quality, and rapid deployment.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes for scalable, resilient deployments.
- Leverage AWS services (ECS/EKS, RDS, S3) to build and operate cloud‑native solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting production issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Solid grasp of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and RESTful API design.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
