Associate AI Engineer - New York Life Insurance Co

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train, and evaluate machine learning models for business use cases, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain GenAI pipelines, integrating large language models into production workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and business partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Deploy models to AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS) and monitor their performance in production.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of AI development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with ML libraries such as scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS ML services (SageMaker, Rekognition, Comprehend).
• Familiarity with GenAI concepts and large language model deployment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset.
