About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and analyse water quality data from field sampling and monitoring networks.
- Develop and maintain hydrological and chemical models for rivers and estuaries.
- Interpret model outputs to assess ecological impacts and support regulatory compliance.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and policy briefs for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate new data sources and emerging risk assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, or related field.
- Experience with water quality modelling software (e.g., SWAT, HEC‑RAS) and GIS platforms.
- Strong statistical analysis skills using R, Python, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for technical reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a national team.
