About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate, and test ion‑trap and solid‑state quantum devices, including precision clocks and magnetometers.
- Develop and optimize quantum sensing protocols for magnetic‑assisted navigation and microelectronics diagnostics.
- Operate and maintain advanced laboratory instrumentation, ensuring accurate calibration and data integrity.
- Analyze experimental data, troubleshoot device performance, and contribute to iterative design improvements.
- Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to integrate quantum systems into larger experimental platforms.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with focus on quantum technologies.
- Hands‑on laboratory experience with ion‑trap or solid‑state device fabrication and testing.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB) and familiarity with quantum sensing techniques.
