About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver practice‑oriented courses in audio recording, mixing, mastering, live sound, and broadcast production for undergraduate students.
- Guide students through real‑world projects, from pre‑production planning to final delivery, using industry‑standard tools such as Pro Tools and Logic Pro.
- Mentor and supervise student labs, studio sessions, and live‑event productions, providing technical feedback and professional best practices.
- Develop curriculum that aligns with current audio industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring graduates are job‑ready.
- Collaborate with industry partners to secure guest lectures, workshops, and internship opportunities for students.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in studio, live, broadcast, or post‑production environments.
- Proficiency with major Digital Audio Workstations (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro) and outboard audio equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to teach complex technical concepts in an engaging, hands‑on manner.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering student growth and industry readiness.
