Software Engineer
Lead a hotel engineering team to ensure flawless operation of facilities, overseeing preventive maintenance, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems while driving continuous improvement and guest satisfaction.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily engineering operations across multiple hotel properties, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems function reliably.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
- Lead, coach, and schedule a team of technicians, fostering a safety‑first culture and high performance.
- Manage renovation and capital projects, coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to meet budget and timeline targets.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce operational costs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in hotel or large‑scale facilities engineering, with a strong background in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Proven leadership skills, including team development, scheduling, and performance management.
- Hands‑on expertise in preventive maintenance planning and execution.
- Project management experience, including budgeting, vendor negotiation, and timeline control.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
