Lead data engineering teams to design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms, leveraging Python, SQL, Airflow, Snowflake, and AWS to support enterprise‑wide health‑care insights.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, setting technical direction and fostering a culture of best practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Python, Apache Airflow, and Snowflake.
- Collaborate with analytics, product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions that drive actionable insights.
- Ensure data platform reliability, performance, and security on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Establish governance, monitoring, and documentation standards for data assets and workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on data engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and modeling.
- Deep experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (S3, Redshift, Lambda, IAM) and cloud‑native security practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of delivering data solutions that support business objectives.
