About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the AI and analytics roadmap, aligning initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts to deliver predictive models, risk analytics, and automation solutions.
- Partner with product, risk, and technology stakeholders to translate business problems into data‑driven solutions.
- Oversee model governance, validation, and performance monitoring to ensure robustness and compliance.
- Champion best practices in data engineering, model development, and cloud deployment (e.g., AWS/GCP).
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics within the financial services sector.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern ML libraries (e.g., scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong background in statistical modelling, data mining, and large‑scale data processing.
- Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional analytics teams and successful delivery of production‑grade models.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business value.
