Data Analyst
Support data analysis and reporting for vehicle salvage operations, leveraging SQL, Python, Excel and Power BI to transform raw data into actionable insights and visual dashboards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, clean and transform data from internal systems and external sources using SQL and Python.
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to track key performance indicators for vehicle procurement, storage and recycling.
- Generate regular and ad‑hoc reports in Excel, providing insights on cost, volume and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements and ensure data quality across the organization.
- Identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for process improvement through data analysis.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and Power BI.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills, able to present findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the automotive or logistics sector is a plus.
