About the Role
SEI is seeking to hire an Artificial Intelligence Product Manager to support the AI initiatives for the Asset Management Unit. As an AI Product Manager you will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and execution of the artificial intelligence initiatives in Asset Management. You will act as liaison between the AI Center of Excellence and Asset Management Unit.
What you will do
- Engage and collaborate with asset management stakeholders to identify and define AI use cases, gather requirements, and align AI team initiatives with business objectives. Proactively communicate progress, updates, and potential challenges to stakeholders at all levels.
- Develop a comprehensive AI product strategy and roadmap for the asset management unit, aligned with the organization's overall objectives. Define the vision for AI-enabled solutions and identify opportunities for leveraging AI technologies within asset management operations.
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring the successful delivery of AI products. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders, to define product requirements, prioritize features, and oversee development sprints.
- Champion ethical and responsible AI practices within the asset management unit. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and establish guidelines for fair and transparent use of AI technologies. Foster a culture of trust, integrity, and responsible AI adoption among team members.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI technologies, industry best practices, and emerging trends within the asset management field. Act as a subject matter expert, providing insights and thought leadership to internal teams, clients, and industry forums.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships.
What we need from you
- BA/BS degree in related field; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years asset management industry related experience.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and Generative AI. Familiarity with relevant AI frameworks and tools is desired.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and data privacy considerations surrounding AI applications in the asset management industry.
- Good understanding of various asset management data sources. Experience with RIA, Broker-Dealer, and asset management platforms is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product features.
