Your role

As Architect Denmark at our Kopenhagen location, you will contribute to Fastned's success by designing fast charging stations with the best customer experience in mind. You will use our modular station designs to create the fast charging locations of the future at high-traffic transport hubs. Your role is essential for our interdisciplinary team to identify and exploit the full potential of a location. In your day-to-day work, you will mainly collaborate with our local team in Kopenhagen, but you will also regularly exchange ideas with the international Location Design Team.

Your tasks

You will create design concepts based on Fastned's modular design standards and guide your own projects through phases 1-4 of design and construction planning.

You will conduct site visits. To get a clear picture, you will check survey data, possible entrances and exits, how traffic flows and gather other important information.

You will create creative design solutions for challenging locations – for an optimal charging experience for our customers.

You will work with local authorities and many external partners and coordinate with them on a regular basis.

You draw up complete plans for building permit procedures.

You work very closely with your direct colleague in the location design team, as well as the expansion and construction teams to deliver high-quality construction documents within the agreed timeframe.

You see yourself as an ambassador for Fastned and electric mobility, both internally and externally, and help everyone involved to understand and support our concept.

Most importantly, you are passionate about the energy transition and want to be part of a company that is really making a difference. You are a true team player, enjoy working independently, are not afraid of making mistakes, and are always curious and willing to learn. You already have experience in the design of public spaces, infrastructure or site development, or would like to develop your skills in these areas.
