Software Engineer
Senior Engineer, Product InfraOps responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable cloud infrastructure for water data platforms, leveraging Python automation, AWS services, Kubernetes orchestration, and IaC tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS supporting critical water data applications.
- Develop and automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to accelerate product releases.
- Containerize services and manage orchestration with Kubernetes, ensuring performance, scaling, and reliability.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code principles with Terraform to provision and version‑control environments.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and continuously improve observability using logging and metrics solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience building and operating cloud‑native infrastructure, preferably on AWS.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Python for automation and tooling.
- Proficiency with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and configuration management.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security best practices in production environments.
