Entry‑level security engineer role focused on installing and maintaining physical security and electrical systems for commercial sites across the UK and EU, involving travel, hands‑on wiring, CCTV, and access‑control work.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission and test physical security equipment such as CCTV cameras, access‑control panels, and alarm systems on commercial properties.
- Perform electrical wiring, conduit pulling, and power distribution tasks in accordance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Conduct on‑site troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to follow design documents, schematics, and installation procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, test results, and as‑built drawings.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK and EU with a valid full driving licence.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and experience with hand tools.
- Familiarity with physical security technologies (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection).
- Strong attention to detail, safety‑first mindset, and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work on a rotational schedule (three weeks on‑site, one week off).
