Software Engineer
Lead applied research to build generative AI solutions for Amazon Ads, driving end‑to‑end ad creation, optimization, and performance analysis using Python, ML, and AWS services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and deploy generative AI models that automate ad creative generation and optimization across Sponsored Products and Brands.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable ML solutions, ensuring alignment with advertiser goals.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis to validate model impact on key metrics such as CTR, conversion, and ROAS.
- Leverage AWS infrastructure (SageMaker, Lambda, S3) to build robust, production‑ready pipelines and maintain model monitoring and governance.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear visualizations and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field with 3+ years of applied research experience.
- Proficiency in Python, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and experience with generative models (e.g., GPT, diffusion).
- Strong background in NLP, computer vision, or multimodal ML applied to advertising or recommendation systems.
- Hands‑on experience deploying models on AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS) and building end‑to‑end ML pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills for cross‑team collaboration.
