Software Engineer
Lead advanced research as an Applied Scientist, developing machine learning models and data pipelines to drive product innovation and public health outcomes using Python, deep learning, and AWS cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning models to solve complex public health and product challenges.
- Develop scalable data pipelines and feature engineering workflows using Python and AWS services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate research findings into actionable product improvements.
- Publish research results and present insights to stakeholders and external conferences.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and reproducibility standards for all experiments.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field with strong research background.
- Proven experience in deep learning, statistical modeling, and large‑scale data analysis.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS cloud services (S3, SageMaker, EMR).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Passion for leveraging data science to address real‑world health challenges.
