About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of applied scientists focused on generative and agentic AI for healthcare applications.
- Design, prototype, and deploy end‑to‑end ML pipelines on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical stakeholders to translate research insights into production‑ready solutions that enhance clinical decision support and administrative processes.
- Drive innovation in model architecture, data strategy, and evaluation metrics to deliver measurable improvements in patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Present findings to senior leadership, articulating technical trade‑offs, business impact, and roadmap priorities.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field with 5+ years of applied AI/ML experience.
- Proven expertise in Python, deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), and AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2).
- Strong background in generative AI, natural language processing, or computer vision applied to healthcare.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver production‑grade AI solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of publishing research or contributing to open‑source projects.
