Research Engineer
Lead research on foundational AI and large language models, advancing agentic systems that drive real‑time, trustworthy banking experiences using Python, ML, NLP, RL, and deep learning techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and evaluate novel LLM architectures and agentic AI frameworks to enhance customer-facing banking applications.
- Conduct rigorous experiments, benchmark models, and publish findings in top AI conferences.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate research outcomes into production pipelines, ensuring reliability and compliance.
- Develop scalable data pipelines and leverage cloud services (e.g., AWS) for model training and inference.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open‑source initiatives.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, or related field with 3+ years of research experience.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Strong background in NLP, LLMs, and reinforcement learning.
- Experience with large‑scale distributed training and cloud deployment.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of publishing impactful research.
