Software Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of active learning pipelines to accelerate model training, leveraging Python, Machine Learning, and PyTorch to deliver high‑impact solutions in a fast‑moving environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and production‑grade active learning frameworks to reduce labeling effort and improve model performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate data pipelines, feature engineering, and model evaluation into continuous delivery cycles.
- Experiment with state‑of‑the‑art algorithms, including uncertainty sampling, query‑by‑committee, and reinforcement‑learning‑based selection strategies.
- Analyze model outputs, provide actionable insights, and iterate on model architecture to meet business objectives.
- Document methodologies, maintain reproducible codebases, and mentor junior data scientists on best practices.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with strong ML background.
- 5+ years of experience building production ML systems, preferably in active learning or related areas.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and data‑engineering tools (SQL, Pandas, Scikit‑learn).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex ideas to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
