Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate machine learning models for safety‑ and reliability‑constrained aerospace and defense applications.
- Compare retrieval‑based approaches, fine‑tuning, and targeted training to identify optimal solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate ML models into mission‑critical systems.
- Document trade‑offs, performance metrics, and risk assessments for stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with security and clearance requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Experience with retrieval‑based models, fine‑tuning, and targeted training pipelines.
- Strong understanding of safety‑critical system design and validation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance preferred.
