About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production‑grade machine learning models for clinical decision support and patient engagement using Python and AWS services.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to transform raw healthcare data into actionable insights, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and data privacy standards.
- Implement end‑to‑end data pipelines, feature engineering, and model monitoring workflows on AWS SageMaker, Glue, and Lambda.
- Integrate NLP techniques to extract structured information from unstructured clinical notes and patient communications.
- Optimize model performance and scalability, conducting A/B testing and continuous improvement cycles.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in applied machine learning within a healthcare or SaaS environment.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS cloud services (SageMaker, Glue, Lambda, S3).
- Strong background in data engineering, feature pipelines, and model deployment.
- Experience with NLP libraries (spaCy, Hugging Face) and healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in an agile setting.
