Applied AI Engineer LLMs, Agents, and Healthcare AI - Human Longevity
AI Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of large‑language‑model based agents for precision health, integrating genomics, imaging, and biomarker data to create clinician copilots and patient‑facing assistants that drive proactive, data‑driven care.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement LLM‑powered agents that interpret genomic, imaging, and biomarker data to generate actionable insights for clinicians and patients.
- Collaborate with data scientists and clinicians to curate high‑quality datasets, ensuring model fairness, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop end‑to‑end pipelines for model training, fine‑tuning, and continuous evaluation in a cloud environment.
- Integrate AI services into existing healthcare workflows, creating intuitive interfaces for clinician copilots and patient assistants.
- Monitor model performance in production, troubleshoot issues, and iterate on architecture to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production‑grade AI systems, preferably in healthcare.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and large‑scale model deployment (e.g., Hugging Face, OpenAI API).
- Deep understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic architectures.
- Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
