Applied AI Engineer, Founding Team Lead
Accenture is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join their founding team, focusing on building and deploying AI products within the Oracle ecosystem. This role involves developing enterprise knowledge platforms, extending MCP server infrastructure, accelerating AI-assisted sales, and serving as an AI agent SME. The ideal candidate is an experienced AI builder with expertise in agentic systems, hybrid retrieval, and context engineering.
Accenture's Oracle Business Group AI Center of Excellence is a highly active enterprise AI innovation environment within the Oracle ecosystem. We focus on building real products that drive successful deals and operate in production, such as a knowledge platform spanning 27 Oracle knowledge servers and over 980,000 documents. We operate with the agility of a startup within a global platform and are experiencing rapid scaling. This is a founding team opportunity, where the initial hires will significantly influence the culture, systems, and overall trajectory of our work.
You are an AI builder who takes initiative and has reshaped your workflow around AI agents. You are not just an adopter but a shipper of agentic systems, deeply familiar with the Anthropic ecosystem, and quick to test new research papers or open-source repositories. You possess a strong instinct for transforming cutting-edge AI into commercial value. You are equally adept at navigating technical deep-dives and engaging in client conversations, and your background could be in engineering, consulting, product, or pre-sales. What truly matters is your ability to build functional solutions and articulate their significance.
Travel may be required for this role, ranging from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
