Lead application support for Charles River IMS, ensuring uptime and performance for institutional investment clients while driving SaaS strategy and system enhancements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 production support for Charles River IMS across multiple client environments, troubleshooting incidents and coordinating with development teams.
- Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to maintain high availability.
- Collaborate with SaaS Operations to plan and execute releases, migrations, and upgrades in a cloud‑native environment.
- Document support procedures, create knowledge base articles, and train end‑users on new features.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise investment management platforms, preferably Charles River IMS.
- Strong understanding of SaaS delivery models, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Effective communication abilities, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, New Relic).
