Application Support Engineer focused on ensuring the reliability and scalability of MES, WMS, and ERP systems in a high‑volume manufacturing environment, leveraging SRE principles and strong stakeholder collaboration.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in production bridge calls, diagnosing and resolving critical incidents for MES, WMS, and ERP platforms.
- Define and implement reliability strategies, including monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning to maintain system uptime at scale.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and deploy enhancements that improve operational efficiency and reduce mean time to recovery.
- Mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices in SRE, troubleshooting, and system architecture.
- Document incident post‑mortems, root‑cause analyses, and preventive measures to foster continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in application support or SRE roles within enterprise manufacturing or industrial software environments.
- Deep knowledge of MES, WMS, and ERP systems, with proven ability to troubleshoot complex integrations.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating technical issues to non‑technical audiences.
- Proactive mindset with a passion for reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.
