About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tier‑2/3 support for mission‑critical defence applications running on Windows Server and Linux platforms.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents using PowerShell, Azure monitoring tools, and SQL queries.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to implement patches, configuration changes, and performance tuning.
- Maintain detailed documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles to improve team efficiency.
- Participate in on‑call rotations and 24/7 support cycles to ensure continuous service availability.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Linux, and PowerShell scripting.
- Hands‑on knowledge of Azure services, monitoring, and incident response.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a high‑security environment.
- Valid Australian citizenship and current NV‑1 AGSVA security clearance (or above).
