Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess the security posture of AWS-hosted applications, services, and websites, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigations.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to embed security controls early in the SDLC.
- Lead penetration testing, threat modeling, and code reviews for new and existing features.
- Develop and maintain security tooling, automation, and monitoring solutions tailored to AWS environments.
- Stay current on emerging threats, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements, translating them into actionable guidance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in application security within cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS security services (IAM, Cognito, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub).
- Familiarity with IoT, mobile, and virtualization security challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
