About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate application releases across multiple environments, ensuring alignment with business priorities and compliance standards.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to resolve release‑related issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage release documentation, version control, and audit trails in accordance with ITIL best practices.
- Monitor release performance, track metrics, and generate post‑release reports to assess success and identify optimization opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in release management or a related DevOps role.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), configuration management (Ansible), containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and experience implementing change and release management frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving skills, and ability to work in fast‑paced, cross‑functional teams.
