Embedded Systems Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of anti‑tamper hardware solutions for federal defense and space programs, leveraging embedded systems, FPGA, and ASIC technologies to ensure robust security and compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and validate anti‑tamper hardware components for defense and space applications.
- Develop firmware and embedded software to support tamper detection and response mechanisms.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate hardware with mission‑critical systems.
- Perform rigorous testing, failure analysis, and compliance verification against federal security standards.
- Document design specifications, test plans, and technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in hardware design, including FPGA and ASIC development.
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, real‑time operating systems, and secure firmware development.
- Experience with anti‑tamper techniques, such as sensor integration, secure boot, and hardware intrusion detection.
- Clearance at Secret level or ability to obtain one.
