About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prototype anti‑tamper hardware modules, including custom PCBs and FPGA logic.
- Write and maintain low‑level firmware in C/C++ and Python for secure boot, tamper detection, and response mechanisms.
- Perform threat modeling, security analysis, and failure testing to validate hardware resilience.
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and security engineers to integrate anti‑tamper features into larger system architectures.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and compliance reports for industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of hardware design experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for embedded development.
- Hands‑on experience with FPGA development tools (e.g., Vivado, Quartus) and PCB layout software.
- Strong understanding of hardware security principles, tamper‑evidence techniques, and secure boot processes.
- Ability to conduct rigorous testing, debug complex hardware issues, and produce clear technical documentation.
