About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure Android applications for national security missions, ensuring compliance with stringent security standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define architecture, implement features, and optimize performance using Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack components.
- Integrate native libraries via the Android NDK and manage device‑level security, data encryption, and secure communication protocols.
- Conduct code reviews, unit and UI testing, and continuous integration to uphold code quality and reliability.
- Stay current with emerging Android technologies, propose improvements, and mentor junior engineers on best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience with a strong portfolio of production apps.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack, and architecture patterns.
- Experience with secure coding practices, device management, and compliance frameworks relevant to national security.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
