About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android Automotive client services that integrate seamlessly with cloud back‑ends.
- Build and expose Pleos Automotive Service as a reusable SDK for third‑party app developers.
- Ensure high reliability, performance, and security across all vehicle‑specific features.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define platform standards and best practices for automotive Android development.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and continuous integration pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Deep knowledge of Android Automotive OS and related APIs.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with strong object‑oriented design skills.
- Experience building SDKs and exposing APIs for external developers.
- Solid understanding of cloud services integration (REST, gRPC, etc.) and secure data handling.
