Software Engineer
Android Build and Release Engineer responsible for designing, building, and releasing Android applications with robust CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high test coverage and automated deployment across multiple client configurations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android build systems using Gradle and related tooling.
- Implement and manage continuous integration and delivery pipelines with Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver stable, on‑time releases.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Monitor and troubleshoot build failures, performance bottlenecks, and configuration issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Android Build Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Gradle, Android SDK, and Java/Kotlin build workflows.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), branching strategies, and release management.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for automation and process improvement.
