Software Engineer
Lead a high‑performing data engineering team to design, build, and maintain cloud‑native big data platforms, partnering with architects, analysts, and data scientists to deliver scalable, business‑critical analytics solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and operate cloud‑native big data pipelines and data warehouses that support analytics, reporting, and data science use cases.
- Lead a team of data engineers and managers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Analytics, Application Development, and Data Science to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Partner with Data Architects and Senior Engineers to enforce best‑practice standards, code quality, and documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement of data platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency on AWS.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data engineering, including design and implementation of ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, and Apache Spark.
- Strong expertise in cloud services (AWS) and data‑warehouse technologies (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and delivering large‑scale data projects.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data governance, and CI/CD practices for data workloads.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with architects, analysts, and data scientists.
