About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs for data ingestion and analytics services on AWS and Azure environments.
- Integrate third‑party and internal data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and high availability.
- Implement bias detection mechanisms within data pipelines, applying statistical techniques to identify and mitigate bias.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for latency and throughput.
Requirements
- Proven experience in API development and integration using RESTful or GraphQL standards.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, Azure Functions).
- Hands‑on experience with bias detection and mitigation techniques in data analytics.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
