Data Engineer
Analytics Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and models using SQL, Python, and BigQuery. Drives data quality, performance, and collaboration across analytics teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and transformations in BigQuery using SQL and Python.
- Implement and maintain Airflow DAGs to orchestrate ETL workflows and ensure data reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into robust data models.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for data quality and governance.
- Document data architecture, lineage, and metadata for cross‑team visibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SQL and Python in a data engineering context.
- Hands‑on expertise with BigQuery, Airflow, and modern data warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
