About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines in Python and BigQuery to ingest, transform, and serve financial data for content planning and production budgeting.
- Collaborate with FP&A, content planning, and production finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data models.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and documentation to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial datasets.
- Optimize query performance and storage costs in BigQuery, leveraging partitioning, clustering, and materialized views.
- Provide actionable insights through dashboards and reports, enabling stakeholders to make data‑driven decisions on content investment and budgeting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an analytics or data engineer in a large, data‑centric organization.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and BigQuery, with a strong understanding of data modeling and ETL best practices.
- Experience building and maintaining production‑grade data pipelines and dashboards.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate complex business problems into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to cross‑functional teamwork.
