Software Engineer
Analytical Engineer who transforms complex data into actionable insights, building and optimizing data pipelines and models using Python, SQL, Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow within a cloud environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Python, SQL, and Airflow.
- Build and optimise data models in Snowflake and dbt to support analytics and machine‑learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to translate business requirements into robust data solutions.
- Implement data quality, monitoring, and governance frameworks to ensure reliable, trustworthy data.
- Participate in the evolution of the data platform architecture, recommending best‑in‑class tools and practices.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and advanced SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehousing design patterns.
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with related services.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
