About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain .NET applications and services that support legislative data processing and public access portals.
- Implement data models and persistence layers using Entity Framework and SQL Server, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and deliver solutions on schedule.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs to integrate internal systems and external data sources.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold coding standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience developing applications with C# and the .NET framework.
- Strong proficiency in Entity Framework, SQL Server, and writing efficient queries.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with JSON/XML data formats.
- Excellent oral communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
