Software Engineer
Analyze finance and accounting processes, build data models, and create visual insights using Python, SQL, and BI tools to drive operational efficiency and support AI‑enabled decision making.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform finance and accounting data from multiple ERP and transactional systems.
- Develop analytical models and dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to monitor process performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Apply statistical techniques and machine‑learning algorithms in Python to predict bottlenecks, forecast cash flow, and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to translate business questions into data‑driven solutions and actionable recommendations.
- Document analytical methodologies, maintain data pipelines, and ensure data quality and governance standards are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field; 1–3 years of experience in process analytics or financial data analysis.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn) and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Hands‑on experience building interactive visualizations and reports using Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights clearly.
- Familiarity with finance and accounting processes (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, month‑end close) and a passion for leveraging AI/ML to improve them.
