About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in‑depth analysis of afforestation, reforestation, restoration (ARR), improved forest management (IFM), and soil carbon projects.
- Critically assess carbon projects, identifying risks, gaps, and value opportunities for investors and buyers.
- Collaborate with project developers to refine assumptions, improve project design, and optimize carbon outcomes.
- Utilize GIS and statistical tools to model carbon sequestration and evaluate project performance.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating technical findings into actionable insights.
Requirements
- Strong background in carbon accounting and nature‑based solutions.
- Proficiency in GIS, Python, and R for data analysis and modeling.
- Experience with statistical analysis and risk assessment in environmental projects.
