Systems Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end development, integration, and fielding of avionics for the C‑130 platform, driving design, procurement, testing, and risk management for Air Mobility and Maritime Missions communications, navigation, and surveillance systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, procure, install, test, and transition avionics hardware and software into production for the C‑130 platform.
- Lead technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation across the full system lifecycle.
- Conduct comprehensive risk analysis and mitigation strategies for avionics solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of communications, navigation, and surveillance systems.
- Document and maintain system architecture, design reviews, and compliance records.
Requirements
- Proven experience in systems engineering for avionics or related aerospace domains.
- Strong knowledge of C‑130 avionics architecture and integration processes.
- Expertise in verification & validation, risk analysis, and lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in a highly regulated, mission‑critical environment.
