About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead airworthiness certification activities for new and existing aircraft, ensuring compliance with national and international regulatory bodies.
- Perform detailed CFD and FEA analyses to validate aerodynamic and structural performance of aircraft components.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and maintenance teams to resolve airworthiness issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design reviews, test reports, and regulatory submissions.
- Conduct risk assessments and failure mode analyses to support continuous improvement of safety and quality processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft airworthiness, certification, or related roles.
- Proficiency in CAD (CATIA, SolidWorks), CFD (ANSYS Fluent, XFlow), and FEA (ANSYS Mechanical, NASTRAN).
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (FAA, Transport Canada, EASA) and certification procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
