Design, develop, and validate air data system components for advanced flight control, leveraging Python, C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and embedded technologies to ensure high‑performance, safety‑critical aerospace solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain air data system algorithms and software modules in C++ and Python for flight control applications.
- Model and simulate system behavior using MATLAB/Simulink, integrating with hardware-in-the-loop test setups.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, perform trade studies, and deliver technical documentation.
- Conduct rigorous verification and validation activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and flight qualification tests.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives for flight control software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in embedded software development for flight control or avionics systems.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, with familiarity in MATLAB/Simulink modeling.
- Knowledge of air data system principles, sensor fusion, and real‑time operating systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
