About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional team of AI/ML engineers and contractors, setting delivery standards and ensuring architectural excellence.
- Own the full AI/ML lifecycle—from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, deployment, and monitoring—using Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and AWS services.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and data teams to identify automation opportunities, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver measurable impact.
- Drive continuous improvement of ML pipelines, model governance, and performance monitoring, ensuring scalability and reliability in production.
- Champion best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation, fostering a culture of experimentation and learning.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Python, ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and cloud platforms (AWS).
- Strong background in data engineering, feature pipelines, and model deployment at scale.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with automation, CI/CD for ML, and model monitoring tools.
