Contract AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using Python, TensorFlow, and AWS services, driving automation and business insights for a biotech organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, train, and evaluate machine learning models to solve complex biological and clinical problems.
- Develop end‑to‑end data pipelines, from ingestion to feature engineering, using Python and cloud data services.
- Deploy models to production on AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS) and monitor performance and drift.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Document model architecture, experiments, and results for reproducibility and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Hands‑on experience deploying ML models on AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS).
- Solid understanding of data engineering concepts and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a contract environment.
- Effective communication skills for presenting findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
