AI/ML Engineer building and maintaining Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, integrating LLMs into applications, and optimizing Postgres schemas. Requires strong Python, ML, API, and database skills, with TS/SCI clearance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, including document ingestion, embedding generation, and retrieval configuration.
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into production applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop and expose robust APIs for model inference and data access, following best practices for security and maintainability.
- Refine and optimize PostgreSQL schemas to support efficient storage and retrieval of embeddings and metadata.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and iterate on model performance.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and experience building ML pipelines.
- Hands‑on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation and LLM integration.
- Strong knowledge of API design (REST/GraphQL) and database schema design, especially PostgreSQL.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
